Amy Smart

Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Her birthplace and childhood were in California in the USA. Her modelling career started in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance acting in a TV movie titled "Her Costly Affair.' After a very difficult transition, she landed a small part in the film "Starship Troopers..' It was an extremely difficult time in her transition from modeling to acting because the models weren't usually thought of as actors and were typically granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did not give up and she eventually landed larger roles, beginning by appearing in the TV show "The 70's" and the feature film "Varsity Blues". The romantic comedy film "Just Friends" starring Ryan Reynolds gave her her first major role. It was a huge commercial success, and Amy had finally found the recognition that she was striving for for over a decade.
